At The Curl Suite, Alex is not only a Curl Expert, but a Curl Educator. She started her Curl Career working side by side withOuidad. She eventually became a head educator for the brand, and served as an intrical part of product development. Alex then ventured on her own in 2012 to open Alex Anthony Salon. A year later, Alex launched Alex Anthony Curl System, bringing her own Curl Revolution to over 200 Salons. She provides intensive hands-on training with real models of all textures, instilling confidence in stylists to cut and style any curl type with her “Curl Puzzling” technique, which eliminates unmanageable width and density that frustrates so many Curly Girls.
Alex moved on from her salon in January, 2018, and opened up a private suite in Chelsea, NY for a more exclusive experience for both new and existing clients. As a leader in this new era of natural, textured hair, Alex is an unparalleled stylist who can make all of your wildest Curly Dreams come true.
Alex’s accomplishments include styling for Tara Subkoff, Rebecca Minkoff, and Timo Weiland at NY Fashion Week. She has been a platform stylist atThe American Beauty Showin Chicago, Premiere Orlando, & Next Level New England. You’ve seen her hair designs onstage for Broadway’s Wicked,andIn The Heights. Her clients include cast members fromHamilton, Avenue Q,and The Book of Morman. In 2019 she relaunched her product line branded under The Curl Suite and is sold in salons across America and online.
